About this wiki

Permafrost Pedia is an independent, unofficial wiki and reference for Permafrost, a frozen-Earth survival sandbox from SpaceRocket Games and Toplitz Productions. It launched before the game did, which is exactly the period when game wikis are least reliable — so the site is built around a single constraint.

The one rule

This is not modesty, it is the product. A pre-launch wiki that guesses warmth values and loot weights looks more complete than this one right up until launch day, at which point every guessed number is wrong and none of them are marked. The unmeasured lists are how you tell which questions are still open.

What is in here

• 35 reference and guide pages, 16 entity pages and 18 comparisons (69 total).
• Two calculators: a PC requirement checker and a launch countdown with the discount ladder.
• A source and evidence page that grades every claim.

After 9 October 2026

Early Access is when this site becomes a database rather than a reading list. Warmth rates, recipe lists, loot tables and the dog’s actual carry capacity all become measurable, and each one gets filled in from measurement with the build version recorded on the changelog.

Affiliation and advertising

Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by SpaceRocket Games or Toplitz Productions. Trademarks belong to their owners. The site may display advertising; ad slots render only when a publisher ID is configured, and no ad placement influences which values get published or how they are graded.
