Frozen Tundra
Open, wind-scoured flatland — the most exposure-heavy biome.
- — Whiteout storms
- — Creeping chill with no shelter nearby
- — Exposure during long crossings
- — Scrap
- — Salvaged machinery
- — Basic insulation materials
Long sightlines, few windbreaks — travel between restored shelters rather than in straight lines.
How Frozen Tundra plays
Wide open ground with little natural shelter, which makes wind and whiteouts the dominant threat rather than enemies.
Official materials frame the world as "city ruins fading into wilderness", and the tundra is the wilderness end of that gradient.
Because cover is scarce, route planning matters more here than in enclosed biomes: you commit to a crossing or you do not.
What is still unmeasured here
Biome-specific numbers are not published and cannot be inferred. The following stay blank on this page until they can be measured in the demo or the launch build:
- Temperature band and how fast exposure accumulates in this biome
- Resource node density and respawn behaviour
- Enemy and wildlife spawn tables
- Loot table weights for the salvage listed above
