Region reported

Horizon

The first real safe spot — and the base most early routes are built around.

Threats
  • — Limited resources near the safe core
  • — The cold the moment you step beyond the boundary
Salvage focus
  • — Basic wood and stone
  • — Introductory crafting materials

What Horizon is

Horizon is reported as the starting safe area: the place you learn the cold before it learns you. Community coverage frames it as the practical first base for early routes.

Safe does not mean warm forever — it is the spot you leave from and return to, which makes it the anchor of the shelter network.

Unconfirmed. Horizon is tagged reported — reported from official trailers and community coverage, not yet verified in the shipped build. Open questions:
  • — Exact map size of Horizon
  • — What lies just past its edge
  • — Whether it can be lost or overrun
