Mule
Named survivor · Hauler / Logistics
If it moves, he moves it — the logistics survivor in a game where carry weight is a real threat.
Mule is reported as a named survivor whose identity is logistics: the person who moves salvage, fuel and food across a world that punishes a full pack. In a game where the dog exists partly to carry heating fuel, a human specialist for haulage is a natural fit.
The cold turns every trip into a weight-budget problem. Mule is the fantasy answer to "I found too much and now I can’t retreat" — the survivor who makes the over-loaded run survivable.
Why Mule matters to survival
- Directly addresses Carry weight, one of the three constraints the survival systems name alongside warmth and food.
- Pairs with the Dog Companion: offloading heavy heating fuel to stay mobile is the dog’s job; Mule is the human version.
- In co-op, a hauler role lets the group push deeper before the pack becomes a death sentence.
- — Mule’s exact carry-capacity bonus, if any
- — Whether he is a companion, an NPC, or a co-op archetype
- — His storyline connection to the other named survivors
