Warmth & Shelter
Warmth is the currency. Shelters are the banks.
Warmth, hunger and exhaustion are described as the core survival meters.
Shelters are how you stop losing warmth; generators are how you make it.
The loop is scavenge → repair → heat → push deeper.
Mechanics
- Restore abandoned shelters instead of building walls from scratch — far cheaper in scarce materials.
- Centralise generators deep inside the shelter; perimeter placement bleeds heat.
- Build "warm rooms" to wait out whiteouts instead of burning fuel continuously.
Unmeasured
Not published, not inferable, not guessed:
- Warmth drain rate
- Generator fuel consumption
- Shelter insulation values
